Animal lovers just like you make up our Volunteer Force. While our volunteers come from different backgrounds, they all have three things in common –

• Compassion for the homeless animals in our community
• Commitment to work together to create a brighter future for the animals
• Consistency and reliability in helping us care for the animals and operate our programs

From spending quality time with our animals to brushing and bathing, our dedicated volunteers make a difference at Sunny Meadows each day!

Application and Orientation

To make sure that we have the right volunteers doing work that they're most suited for and that they can be proud of, we first ask that interested people fill out a simple application and attend an orientation session.

Orientations are held on the first Thursday of each month at 5 pm. If you would like to volunteer, please send us your volunteer application and sign up for the orientation session. There are 12 "slots" available each month. All volunteers are required to attend this training. After completing orientation, you must volunteer minimal three times within six months. This is mandatory.
